Sweetransfer
An ongoing video art curatorial project
Sweetransfer
is a curatorial project that focuses on video and was founded by Yoel Peled and Shahar Mizrahi. Once every two months we hold a video evening in various exhibition spaces and galleries.
Sweetransfer was founded out of a passion for video and the shared viewing format - there are wonderful video works by veteran and young artists in the local field and overseas. Our goal is to create a video exposure platform through a "cluster"/"collection" - exposure that allows to expand the discourse on the medium and create meetings around it.
Sweetransfer is a nomadic project without an if base - it travels depending on the availability of space and projection conditions. Through such a method of operation, we are given the opportunity to use the changing qualities of the temporary places in which we operate - creating a dialogue with the permanent exhibition; The train is collected from the video archive of the host venue; Having a performance after the cluster given that the space originally serves as a space for performances, and more.
